Space Runners x NBA Champions NFT Collection Sells out in 9 Minutes
Metaverse Fashion brand Space Runners launched their genesis NFT collection, “NBA Champions Collection” in collaboration with NBA champions Kyle Kuzma and Nick Young. The drop was a major success, selling out within 9 minutes, due in large part to the ever expanding Space Runners community and some enthusiastic collaborators.
About the Collection
The “NBA Champions Collection” could not have happened without the amazing support of Space Runners collaborators Kyle Kuzma and Nick Young. Both athletes have won NBA championships and own stellar professional resumes. Beyond their accomplishments on the hardwood, Kuzma and Young are enthusiastic about their new Space Runners collection and Metaverse Fashion.
The exclusive, customized sneaker collection was minted on the Solana blockchain and included a capped supply of 10,000 NFTs with lifetime royalties of 0.5%. Along with royalties, these NFTs have many more unique benefits. Space Runners NFTs will be used in a variety of ways including integrating with AR, accessing exclusive events, receiving celebrity memorabilia, gaining future whitelist privileges, and much more.
Minting Recap
Minting of the collection took place on Space Runners Official Website. Active community members (#RUNNERS) who made sprints to get whitelisted in the Space Runners Discord Server, were rewarded with placement in the Private Sale. Benefits included priority slotting and discounted pricing. The Private Sale was followed by the Public Sale, which was completed shortly after it began. The entire collection was sold out within 9 minutes. Many satisfied minters quickly shared their new NFT sneakers across social media. We can’t blame them!
