In a blink of an eye, you are taken to the Moon, the world of stark contrasts, bright light, and dark shadows. Dust settles here ever so slowly. There is no life here, never has been. The Moon is a great place to sit and watch the Earth rise knowing vicariously that there’s lively passion down there, there are crowds of people swarming like ants, there are relentless tides, earthquakes, and volcano eruptions. But here there is only ashy dust, gray rock, and mesmerizing languor. And a sunken feeling of one last look at your home before a long journey. You wave goodbye and close your eyes again.
