Arc Welding: An Important Spare Part — Get it Online
Machines and machinery parts have been always one of the important parts of industrial and mechanical industries. As a result, a number of industrial machines and machinery parts are being in use. Among varied industrial machinery parts, Arc welding is one of the important industrial tools that plays a vital role in production.
What is Arc Welding?
Arc welding is a process under which the welding heat is procured from an electric arc which is stuck in between base metal and an electrode. The heat produced by electric arc is approx. 6000°C to 7000°C. Both direct current and alternating current are preferred in most of the purposes. It enables the thicker materials to get joined perfectly, thus it is also known as a strong and economic way of welding. It is actually suitable for welding metal over 3mm. Arc welding is widely popular as Manual Metal Arc (MMA) and also known as Stick and SMAW.
Types of Arc Welding
There are two types of arc welding depending upon its electrode:
- Un Shielded arc welding: When a filler rod or a large electrode is used for welding then it is called as un shielded welding.
- Shielded arc welding: When welding rods are coated with fluxing material and used for welding, it is called as shielded arc welding.
Welding Processes Used by Industries
- Carbon arc welding: It is one of the widely used process under which welding heat is obtained from an electric arc between carbon electrode and work. It is used in heavy plants where additional metal is deposited in the weld from filler rod.
- Metal arc welding: It is a process in which the arc is produced in between the metal electrode and work piece. In this process metal electrode is melted by the heat of the arc and fused with work piece. The exact temperature produced by heat is 2400° C to 2700° C.
- Atomic hydrogen welding: In this welding process the arc is procured between two tungsten electrodes from a stream of hydrogen which is passes by arc and envelopes.
- Thermit welding: In this welding, the mixture of iron oxide and aluminum is known as thermit. It is ignited at a fixed temperature of 1500°C. Under this process all parts of weld are being melted at the same time and the weld is cools almost uniformly. This process is generally used in joining iron and steel parts that are quite large in size. These parts are manufactured for placed like rails, trucks frames, locomotive frames, rail roads, still mils and other sectors as well.
Apart from these arc welding, there are many more processes are available that are used by the numerous industries such as Submerged arc welding, Stud arc welding, etc.
How to buy Arc Welding
In order to make the purchase of Arc Welding, buyers can explore the wide range available online at e-commerce platform. These days, industrial spare parts e-commerce platforms have been emerged that takes the accountability to provide the original spare parts online. Thus, buyers can easily buy arc welding online at reasonable price along with quality assurance. The process of buying arc welding online is as similar as any other online purchase, thus buyers can trust over the platform to make bulk purchase as well as single piece purchase. So, go for it.
