Welcome to another round of The 10th Hole, the blog to keep you updated on everything Spark. Just like our leagues, The 10th Hole keeps it fun and social with the occasional penalty stroke. Let’s Spark it up!

In today’s round, we review how Spark golf leagues allow you to play more golf. Let’s be honest, everyone wants to play more golf. However, in today’s world, it’s not easy to play as much as you’d like. Work, family and 5 hour rounds just don’t mix. Spark is trying to change that. We want you to play more golf and are doing our best to provide solutions through our recreational golf leagues and technology. Keep reading to learn how you can Spark it up on the course more often…

Hole 1 — We play 9 holes. All Spark leagues are 9-holes and play in around 2 hours. Gone are the days of the 5 hour round. We get you on and off the course in a timely manner that your work and family can accept.

Hole 2 — We play on weekday evenings after 5pm. Soccer games, yard work, birthday parties; the list can go on and on. Our weekends are packed. If you’re lucky, you may be able to sneak in a round, but we believe weekday evenings are the sweet spot to get in 9 holes of golf.

Hole 3 — We play twice a month. The math wizards in the back office of Spark told us that every week equals 4 times a month. And that’s just too much. Every other week gives you a perfect work-life-golf balance.

Hole 4 — Our season schedule is set in advance. We’ve spoke about “Appointment Golf” before, and we love it. Get golf on your calendar in advance so you can plan those date nights and work trips around it.

Hole 5— The Spark app has sub functionality. Along with on-course scoring, standings and stats, the Spark app allows for those last minute meetings or pediatrician visits. If something comes up and you can’t play a schedule round, you can sub a friend to play for you under their own Spark handicap.

Hole 6— We play as teams. There is a reason the Ryder Cup is so popular. Everyone loves a teammate to pick you up when your down. Spark Golf is a team sport.

Hole 7 — We play fun & social, recreational golf. We believe golf is a leisure activity that should be enjoyed and not taken too seriously. We have fun, period. If you want to play in the U.S. OPEN, we can provide a list a qualifying events for you. Good luck!

Hole 8 — We play with just the right Spark of competition. Even-though we play recreational golf that doesn’t mean we don’t like to win. We keep score and there are winners and losers. This is America.

Hole 9 — It’s up to you to play more golf. We do our best to provide solutions to get you on the course more often. However, the choice is yours. The only way to play more is to PLAY MORE. So join a Spark golf league and let’s Spark it up more often.
