I get what you’re saying, and I am not trying to disprove your point, but perhaps I could augment it. To me, work ethic is the ability to do that which you hate because you know you have to. To do what you love, well that’s not really work, is it? It’s more of a hobby. On top of that, being able to do what you love and still make the world a better place is strictly a first world privelege. Work ethic is the farmer who breaks his back all day to feed his family and rarely, if ever, complains about it.
