I’m so glad to hear that a community has made a difference in your writing! I’m on the board of a local writers’ collective where we put on workshops and events for writers, but I’m not in a critique-style group. I have a few groups that get together to write with, though. I’ve been thinking lately that I’d like to find a group to get more feedback…

I used to journal a lot, but fell out of the habit about 20 years ago. This is bringing me back in and I love it!
Absolutely! I’ve recently found myself not doing it at all and being easily distracted by every thought that popped into my head. I’m in the process of revamping my writing process for July and reincorporating brain dumps, or at least writing down a thought when I have it.
