First they came for the Hispanics and Latinos, and I did not speak out —
Because I was not Hispanic or Latino.

Then they came for the Muslims and the Jews, and I did not speak out —
Because I was not a Muslim or a Jew.

Then they came for all Immigrants and their children, and I did not speak out — Because I was not an Immigrant.

Then they came for all people of color, and I did not speak out —
Because I was not a person of color.

Then they attacked the Women, and I did not speak out —
Because I was not a Woman.

Then they came for me — and there was no one left to speak for me.
