Firstly, I double-checked all the data in the table. Both the discrepancy and margin of error refer to the difference in percentage between the two candidates (noted in the table footnotes), which should be within about 6%, but is actually 14%. That is about a 7.9% discreprancy. The margin of error refers to differences in vote percentage in total, not for either candidate. Thus, your argument is incorrect.
