I’m a Warriors fan but I thought Draymond made a ton of sense in the 2012 draft for the Heat. They’d just won their first title with LeBron with a smaller, high IQ forward who can defend and shoot with Battier, and Draymond seemed like a great fit. That would have been a very interesting sliding door. I think he fits the Heat/Riley/Spoelstra ethos pretty well and they would have gotten a lot out of him, but hard to imagine it being like the Warriors and VERY hard to imagine how his personality would have worked under LeBron.

But this was a great article. Dray is so smart and so competitive it’s just impossible to compare. Really, finding the next Dray is about just finding really good college basketball players who fell because they were tweeners or didn’t fit a mold.
