Trade made a lot of sense to me if they re-sign him in the offseason. They now have a very deep and versatile wing group with Beal, Porter, Oubre, and Bogdanovich. In general, I think today’s NBA really rewards teams with deep, versatile, wing groups especially with an elite talent like Wall up top and a solid frontcourt
But there is also the potential either over the summer, or the next trade deadline to maybe move Porter or Oubre as part of a package to upgrade at the C spot. Like if the Boogie-Davis pairing doesn’t work out for the Pelicans or the Pistons decide to move on from Drummond.
