How do SO many people do this and make money of of it? I swear, I see (Medium) articles all the time from people who quit their job and “built a business” that teaches people how to build businesses.. but that is their first business.. and they started it 3 months ago… It is so perplexing.

And how are people believing this? Do they not care about prior experience? I guess they just want someone to look up to, and a way to justify their decision of quitting their job to follow a dream.

You are absolutely right though, the narrative of entrepreneurship needs to change. It belongs to the people who work hard every fucking day. Not the ones who preach trite business shit to get a following.
