Trump is trying to claim now that he didn’t egg the MAGA crowd on to chant, “SEND HER BACK!” In fact, he tried to stop it. Bullshit. He workshopped it before and had some of his extras from his reality TV president show planted in the crowd to start the chant. We all saw it. It was on TV.
Republicans are going along with Trump denying he did what he did even though we all saw it on TV.
We all saw it. We all heard it.
“The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command. His heart sank as he thought of the enormous power arrayed against him, the ease with which any Party intellectual would overthrow him in debate, the subtle arguments which he would not be able to understand, much less answer. And yet he was in the right! They were wrong and he was right.” — George Orwell, 1984
The dipshits who voted for Trump because he says what he means are now trying to get the rest of us to believe that he didn’t mean what he said.
In addition to lying about what he said and doing it on camera, he’s making up quotes from Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Ilhan Omar. Flat out, fact checkable lies but he gets away with it because he always gets away with it. The Party sees to it.
“I’ve heard some Republicans suggest that the Dems have been crying racism for so long that when actual racism comes it falls on deaf ears. Here’s a new narrative: It’s been racism this whole damn time and we’ve been warning you and it’s exactly what led to this ugly moment.” — Max Weiss
“The racism. The hatred of refugees. The malignant narcissism. The pathological lying. The sex abuse. The lazy ignorance. The company he keeps. The obsession w/$$$. The criminality. The gaslighting. The coveting of murderous dictators. Is there any redeeming quality in this man?” — Steven Beschloss
Ilhan Omar is in danger. This is the first time in history that a sitting member of Congress needs extra security to protect them from the President of the United States.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s entire generation has no memory of a conservative, rational, patriotic, sane Republican party because there never was one. For them, The Party was always The Party.
One of the biggest myths about 2016 was that “economic anxiety” drove people to vote for Trump. Bullshit. It was and still is, racism.
3o years from now kids will go digging around in the attic and come across a MAGA hat and freak out to learn that Grandpa was a member of The Party.
