Ron-
UGH!
Thank you for responding, and confirming something is not quite “right” (sorry-couldn’t “resist” OMG stopping now..)
And sorry you are also being, for the lack of a better term, censored, as well.
After gaining a fairly healthy start at Twitter (almost 5k curated followers over 1.5 years), I was temporarily blocked then permanently banned for calling out 2 checkmarked Twits who directly threatened the President.
I realized that I needed a forum wherein I could engage better and have a more involving discourse and changed my tone-as should be expected going from a hundred characters to unlimited.
I knew of Medium through the business content of which I enjoy, and thought I would give it a shot.
While I have noticed while some completely, head-on-fire, ranters have gone, so have the claps I have gained.
Sure, not everything I write is a gem, but some were pretty well received-hundreds of claps-(even if most were from the other conservative readers), now down to a couple, if not gone and some gone completely:

Medium is the premier blog liberal “sausage-fest” platform, and the liberal echo chamber here is enormous. As a wild-ass guess, the ratio of liberal to conservative has to be 100000:1.
That makes us unicorns.
I would argue ANY/ALL conservative voice moves the conversation forward (or at least eliminates the piling on/sycophant responses to a singular thought)
It must be latent masochism, but I kinda like the concept of writing into my own void. Truth told, I will always find a place for my voice. I write for me, for the catharsis. If some random lefty decides to throw the lever to throw it in the digital trashcan, so be it. But if I can engage just 1 opposing position and have a stimulating debate-at least to change perspective, then I am honing my craft. It has happened here and my hope springs eternal.
Forget the 1A aspects (since Medium is private and not public)-I wonder if Ev would reconsider the value of having contrary voice..
Thanks again for responding!
