Spinblade Parts

Being talented or lucky isn’t enough to be the best Blader in the game… You need to know your Spinblade very well so you can make more strategic decisions by observing other Spinblades before entering a match. For these reasons, we have compiled some essential details that will help you to learn the anatomy of Spinblades more closely.

Spinblades have a basic structure that starts out round and narrows down like a tornado. This structure can be shaped with different colors and designs. However, the stats of a Spinblade cannot be understood by looking at the visuals of the Spinblades. The best way to understand this is to disassemble Spinblades and examine the values each part has.

SPINBLADES (ERC-721)

Essentially, all Spinblades are non-fungible tokens (NFTs) of type ERC-721. Each Spinblade is unique, has no duplicates, and cannot be replaced with another Spinblade with the same attributes.

Spinblades appear in 4 different types: Attack, Defence, Stamina, and Balance. What determines the type of a Spinblade is the stat values each part has. According to this, if all parts of a Spinblade are of the same type, it becomes a Spinblade of that type. For example, if all three Spinblade parts are of the Attack type (ie, they are Attack stat-weighted parts), that Spinblade becomes an Attack type Spinblade.

If two of the parts of a Spinblade are of the same type, as we mentioned above, the dominant type is taken as the base and becomes the Spinblade of that type. For example, if your Spinblade’s Power Ring and Metal Disc are Attack type and Tip is Stamina, then your Spinblade’s type is Attack.

However, if each part of your Spinblade is of a different type, it becomes a Balance type Spinblade.

PARTS (ERC-1155)

Each part is a non-fungible token (NFTs) of type ERC-1155. Every Spinblade consists of 3 parts: Power Ring, Metal Disc, and Tip.

  • Power Ring is the top part of a Spinblade. Essentially, it is a primary combat component of a Spinblade. It affects how a Spinblade engages other Spinblades in terms of using its attacks.
  • Metal Disc is a metal part consisting of various weights and shapes. It can also be described as the middle part of a Spinblade. Typically, a Metal Disc affects movement patterns, balance, and weight of a Spinblade.
  • Tip is the bottom part of a Spinblade that affects mostly the movement pattern and endurance in the arena in terms of the time it keeps turning without any interruption. The height of a Spinblade is mostly dependent on the Tip as well.

Each part has three main stats and two secondary stats. The main stats are Attack, Defence, and Stamina while secondary stats are Agility and Burst. The type of a part is determined by whichever stat (among the main stats only) has the highest value on that part. However, if a part has two or more equal stats, then the type of the part is determined by looking at the stat priority of that part. According to this,

  • The stat priority of the Power Ring: Attack > Stamina > Defence
  • The stat priority of the Metal Disc: Defence > Attack > Stamina
  • The stat priority of the Tip: Stamina > Defence > Attack

For example, you have a Power Ring where the values of Attack and Defence are equal and Stamina has the lowest value. This means that the type of this part is Attack, because the stat Power Ring is most prone to is Attack.

In another example, if there’s a Tip where Attack and Defence are equal and Stamina is the lowest, that part’s type is Defence. Because at this point, we need to look at the second stat that the Tip is most prone to. Remember, this rule only applies when two or more stats are equal in a part.

The total weight of a Spinblade is calculated by summing the weight of each part. Accordingly, each part weighs between 1–30 grams and the total weight of a Spinblade is between 30–90 grams.
