How to Manually Clean the Printhead on Your HP Officejet 7500 All-in-One Printer
- Lift the cartridge access door that contains the ink cartridges.
2. Remove the cartridges one by one.
3. Remove the printhead and place it on the tissue paper. Now take the container, place a folded tissue inside it and fill some water to a level where the middle part of the tissue gets wet.
4. Place the printhead in the container until the dried ink drains out. Once the ink gets totally drained take the printhead out and gently wipe the excess ink using the tissue paper. The printhead is now clean and dry.
5. Now take it back to the printer carriage.
6. Reinstall the printhead and lock it by pulling the latch down against the carriage using the collar heads on the printhead.
7. Place the cartridges back one by one. make sure to press down on each cartridge until it falls into place.
8. After putting back all the cartridges close the cartridge access door.
9.Now on the printer access tool navigate to setup on the touch screen.
10. Scroll down and tap “clean printhead” and then tap “ok” to complete the process.
