One of the most popular Cantonese restaurants in the area, it is mostly unknown amongst travelers and tourist but loved by locals. Instead of Dim Sum, this popular local restaurant specializes in Congee Hot Pot. The fresh ingredient and thick broth keep customers coming back.

Smack dab in the middle of Shamian Island is a beautiful European building that Time Out Cafe calls home. With homemade pastries and freshly ground coffee, Time Out is a great chill spot. Just look for their black cat logo.

The Best Western restaurant on Shamian Island is a restaurant shaped like a train car called Orient Express. While a little bit pricier because of the location, this french restaurant has tasty western comfort food to grab a filling dinner after exploring the island.
