The San Diego Padres, participating in the Major League Baseball (MLB) World Tour Seoul Series, came to Korea.

The San Diego team, including Kim Ha-seong and Ko Woo-seok, completed their spring camp schedule in Arizona, USA, then traveled to Korea on a chartered plane and entered the country through Incheon International Airport on the 15th.

San Diego will play the opening two-game series of the regular season against the LA Dodgers, played by Shohei Ohtani, at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on the 20th and 21st. This is the first time that a major league regular season game is held in Korea.

Fernando Tatis Jr. of the San Diego Padres, who is participating in the MLB World Tour Seoul Series, is signing autographs for fans as he enters the country through Incheon International Airport Terminal 1 in the early morning of the 15th.

Even though it was early in the morning, many baseball fans flocked to Incheon Airport to see the major league superstars who came to Korea.

Despite the fatigue caused by the long journey, San Diego players such as Ha-seong Kim, Woo-seok Ko, Fernando Tatis Jr., and Manny Machado responded to fans’ requests for autographs.

After a brief meeting with fans, the San Diego team immediately boarded a large bus and moved to their lodgings in Yeouido.

After taking a day’s rest, San Diego will hold a youth baseball clinic at Yongsan Children’s Park in Seoul at 12:45 p.m. on the 16th.

Ko Woo-seok of the San Diego Padres, who is participating in the MLB World Tour Seoul Series, is signing autographs for fans as he enters the country through Incheon International Airport Terminal 1 in the early morning of the 15th.

Afterwards, they move to Gocheok Sky Dome and complete the Seoul Series schedule, starting with an official press conference and training at 4:15 p.m. Coach Mike Schilt, Ha-seong Kim, Machado, Tatis Jr., and Xander Bogaerts will attend the press conference to express their feelings about coming to Korea and their determination for the Seoul Series.

On the 17th, the Korean national baseball team, led by coach Ryu Joong-il, will play a special match against last year’s KBO League champion LG Twins on the 18th. On the 19th, the final training in preparation for the opening of the season will be held, and the Seoul Series will be played against the Dodgers on the 20th and 21st.

Meanwhile, the Dodgers team, including Ohtani, is also scheduled to arrive at Incheon Airport on the afternoon of the 15th. 스포츠토토
