Chung Mong-gyu, president of the Korea Football Association, is making an announcement regarding the future of national soccer team coach Jurgen Klinsmann at the Soccer Center in Jongno-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of the 16th. This morning, the Football Association held an executive meeting and discussed pending issues related to the national team, including the National Team Power Strengthening Committee’s recommendation to sack coach Jurgen Klinsmann.

The police are summoning and investigating officials from the Citizens’ Livelihood Countermeasures Committee, a civic group that filed a complaint against Korea Football Association President Chung Mong-gyu.

The Common People’s Committee announced on the 26th that it would attend the Jongno Police Station in Seoul at 10 a.m. on the 27th and receive an investigation into the accuser.

The Common People’s Committee previously reported Chairman Chung to the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency on charges of coercion, obstruction of business, and breach of trust. The charge is that he unilaterally appointed former national team coach Jurgen Klinsmann and coerced association officials into interfering with their business.

On the 18th, the Common People’s Committee also filed a complaint to the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency against Chairman Chung and former director Klinsmann on charges of defamation and obstruction of business.

This is because the criticism of the Korea Football Association was blamed on the fight between players Son Heung-min (32) and Lee Kang-in (23), thus damaging the reputation of the players.

The complaint has been assigned to the Jongno Police Station and the investigation is ongoing. 스포츠토토맨
