It may be cheesy, but I love listening to Wagon Wheel by Old Crow Medicine Show while driving through North Carolina. As I was singing along one afternoon driving north to Raleigh, I saw a huge yellow billboard for gluten-free baked goods that caught my eye.
Bakeries are not typically 100% Certified gluten-free, so this definitely caught my attention. I had never heard of Benson, NC before but it was an adorable, quiet town, about 40 minutes south of Raleigh. I found the shop quickly and my jaw dropped when I saw an entire bakery of 100% Certified Gluten-free baked goods that looked delightful.
I loaded up my arms with breads, cupcakes, cheesecake bites, muffins, and pre-made meals like a squirrel collecting nuts for winter. They had everything my gluten-free heart had been missing since giving up gluten. To my surprise, they even have reusable and cooler bags too so your food stays safe for your travels.
Every now and then I am craving some of JP’s pastries but don’t have time to run down to Benson for a full shopping trip. I found out JP’s Pastry’s are available at plenty of convenient locations around the triangle!
