Investors need access to detailed and robust data. We wanted to give our users the deepest, cleanest, and most extensive cryptocurrency data. We are excited to announce powerful new datasets aimed at making your cryptocurrency analysis easier than ever before.

Our newest update includes:

  • Current and historical Trades
  • Current and historical Order Book
  • Current and historical OHLCV
  • Data back up to 5 years, down to the millisecond granularity

Quotes

You can add quotes directly into a spreadsheet with the click of a button. Quotes describes data pulls related to quotes data, which is also known as quotes or passive level 1 data.

You can pull in Current (most recent 100 instances) or search by historical.

Options

  • From Symbol — From identifier of requested timeseries (ex. Bitcoin)
  • To Symbol — To identifier of requested timeseries (ex. US Dollar)
  • Exchange — Exchange of requested timeseries (ex. Coinbase)
  • Current — Toggle to pull current vs. historical
  • Limit — Row limiter
  • Headers — Toggle for table headers

Headers

  • Type — Type of data being pulled
  • Exchange — Exchange where data is pulled from
  • From Symbol — Asset quote
  • To Symbol — Asset base
  • Ask Price — Best asking price
  • Ask Size — Volume resting on best ask
  • Bid Price — Best bidding price
  • Bid Size — Volume resting on best bid
  • Exchange Time (GMT) — Timestamp of data pulled from exchange

Trades

This section describes calls related to executed transactions data, also known as matched orders data or active data.

You can pull in Current (most recent 100 instances) or search by historical.

Options

  • From Symbol — From identifier of requested timeseries (ex. Bitcoin)
  • To Symbol — To identifier of requested timeseries (ex. US Dollar)
  • Exchange — Exchange of requested timeseries (ex. Coinbase)
  • Current — Toggle to pull current vs. historical
  • Limit — Row limiter
  • Headers — Toggle for table headers

Headers

  • Type — Type of data being pulled
  • Exchange — Exchange where data is pulled from
  • From Symbol — Asset quote
  • To Symbol — Asset base
  • Taker Side — Aggressor side of the transaction (BUY/SELL/BUY_ESTIMATED/SELL_ESTIMATED/UNKNOWN)
  • Price (To Sym.) — Price of the transaction
  • Size (To Sym.) — Base asset amount traded in the transaction
  • Exchange Time (GMT) — Timestamp of data pulled from exchange

Order Book

This section describes calls related to order book data, also known as books or passive level 2 data.

You can pull in Current (most recent 100 instances) or search by historical.

Options

  • From Symbol — From identifier of requested timeseries (ex. Bitcoin)
  • To Symbol — To identifier of requested timeseries (ex. US Dollar)
  • Exchange — Exchange of requested timeseries (ex. Coinbase)
  • Current — Toggle to pull current vs. historical
  • Limit — # of levels limiter, from 5 periods to 50 periods
  • Limit Levels — Control the depth of the order book
  • Headers — Toggle for table headers

Headers

  • Type — Type of data being pulled
  • Exchange — Exchange where data is pulled from
  • From Symbol — Asset quote
  • To Symbol — Asset base
  • Exchange Time (GMT) — Timestamp of data pulled from exchange
  • Ask Price — Best <x> ask levels in order from best to worst
  • Ask Size — Volume resting on best ask
  • Bid Price — Best <x> bid levels in order from best to worst
  • Bid Size — Volume resting on best bid

OHLCV

Data pulls in this section are related to downloading OHLCV (Open, High, Low, Close, Volume) timeseries data. Each data point of this timeseries represents several indicators calculated from transactions activity inside a time range (period).

  • From Symbol — From identifier of requested timeseries (ex. Bitcoin)
  • To Symbol — To identifier of requested timeseries (ex. US Dollar)
  • Exchange — Exchange of requested timeseries (ex. Coinbase)
  • Current — Toggle to pull current vs. historical
  • Limit — Row limiter
  • Headers — Toggle for table headers
  • Resolutions — Timespan for each candlestick

Headers

  • Type — Type of data being pulled
  • Exchange — Exchange where data is pulled from
  • From Symbol — Asset quote
  • To Symbol — Asset base
  • Open — First trade price inside period range
  • High — Highest traded price inside period range
  • Low — Lowest traded price inside period range
  • Close — Last trade price inside period range
  • Volume — Cumulative base amount traded inside period range
  • Trade Count — Amount of trades executed inside period range
  • Time Start (GMT) — Time of first trade inside period range
  • Time End (GMT) — Time of last trade inside period range
