great piece, well written and very truthful.

I think we all are looking for that slap on the back “great job” kinda thing because we are predisposed to needing the accomplishments to push forward.

In the past we had to type it out on a IBM electric typewriter, if we were lucky and then copy it, bound it and send it to be seen…weeks later, if we were lucky we got a letter telling us “it’s ok, maybe if you change….”

….and off we went making the changes suggested and repeat steps two through four…copy, bound, send….

today…within seconds of finishing you can have your first critique of your work….from someone like me…

…too chicken to post my own work but has no problem telling you what’s wrong with yours….

Ah America….gotta love the 1st ammendment….
