Last week was a mirror to the last 200 years…what’s different?
Fashion?
What color our president is?
What gender?
the fact that the majority of all “law makers” (our Congress and senate) are old white men?
That, even though we say it’s not; church is far too entrenched into our government?
ALL of the above?
When I get up in the morning I have a cup of coffee, read/watch the news, eat breakfast and begin my day….does the day of a black person start differently?
When I gave birth to my children I prayed for their safty, looked at them in amazement and loved them fiercely and swore no harm would ever come to them…does a person of color love their children differently?
I sleep in a bed, I brush my teeth, I eat when I am hungry and I cry when I am sad….does the black community or brown community or Muslim community do any of this differerently?
Is every last thing about your white self exactly the same as your white neighbor?
PLEASE find the difference and embrace it!
Find the difference and learn from it.

WHY ARE WE AFRAID OF DIFFERENT?
I can not for the life of me understand why we are afraid of what we are not…EVEN cops!
BECAUSE WE ARE TOLD/TAUGHT TO FEAR WHAT WE DO NOT KNOW, DO NOT UNDERSTAND AND CAN NOT HEAR
We fear cops but we call it respect.
WHY? because they wear a uniform, because our taxes pay them, because someone somewhere told us we should?
I don’t respect anyone who does not earn my respect and I can not respect anything hiding behind walls and lie.
Cops hide behind their wall of blue and wonder “why” when the wall crumbles.
All the same “whys” people of color, people without an inheritance to wealth, immigrants in America, people of faith (any faith) are forced to ask daily…
Why do we fear what we don’t understand?
Why is it hard to accept difference without fear?
Daily we hear in our media the bad news crumbling our country. We watch in horror as cops kill black young men and women (Sandra Bland) for being black young men and women and as bad as that is and as much pain as that inflicts and much push back we know it is going to cause…it happens every day…
….but what truly is the crumbling factor today….
our court system, our judges
….cops…they are allowed to do it, their bosses (judges, congres, senate) continues to pay a full salary, and they are let off scot free to do it again and again….our court system refuses to convict them, our court system tells them the laws do not apply to them, our court system is the primary problem.
but we blame the black man next door because the court tells us to.
The shock of today and the sadness of the loss of so many cops at one time is very sad, it should not ever come down to this…but to say it is unacceptable but not say it is also expected…is lying, is the problem, will make it happen again.

As sad as the last 48 hours has been in Dallas, one MUST stop and ask WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU EXPECT!

We witness the murders in living color thanks to technology and still…they tell us we are not seeing what we think we are.
A young woman videos a murder of her boyfriend by cop, her 4 year old daughter in the car. The young man had done nothing wrong other than catch the wrong card at the hand of God and was born black….
within 24 hours lies are littering the media of him…bench warrants, multiple complaints….the truth is far from the media printing but now…it’s real…it has to be, the media printed it…
…and stupid white people who refuse to learn the truth for themselves believe this and blame the next young black man they see….
I am a white woman ashamed of my heritage today.
I don’t need to give my reason…open the fucking paper, turn on any channel of news reporting…that’s the reason…
different day, different city, different state…same fucking news…
One more black family morning the loss of a father, a brother, a son, a sister, a mother, a daughter, a child….
AND I know the next thing I will hear is what department was the killer….
I am mad as hell and I don’t want to take it anymore….
we need to start at a government level, DO NOT ALLOW ONE ENCUMBANT BACK… vote for the opposite party now in office, if your state senator is a democrat, elect the republican, if it is a republican, elect the democrat….it’s time to show these fucks who hired them…and next election, do it again…stop letting them make a career out of a 4 year commitment/contract….
then go to your local level….District Attorney, Elected Sheriff, councilmen/women…any elected official in your city needs to learn who hires and fires them too…they will be the ones looking to state office next…teach them early…
And this year let’s do what MANY other countries are doing…telling OLD WHITE MEN no more bullshit….
