Shooty Fruity Arcade remains a staple at VR arcades a full-year after release

Game Studio nDreams put special importance on VR Arcades when creating Shooty Fruity Arcade and in-turn, created one of the staple titles at arcades today.

To celebrate this success, Shooty Fruity Arcade will be free Nov. 18 through Nov. 24!

Creating a game that works well in arcades isn’t always the easiest thing but the team at nDreams took the amazingly polished and fun gameplay of Shooty Fruity, packaged that into in an extremely streamlined experience, and in the end, created a great arcade experience.

Doing so wasn’t easy either. The non-arcade version of Shooty Fruity while fun is not something made for the standard arcade user.

For example, users must gradually unlock levels, purchase weapons, create weapon loadouts, etc. While fine for in-home play, the overall flow was not conducive to arcade use and would more than likely have been confusing and difficult for the standard arcade user.

The team at nDreams took everything that makes Shooty Fruity awesome and simplified the whole experience so anyone, of any skill level, could enjoy their game.

nDreams streamlined version of Shooty Fruity Arcades is the perfect VR Arcade shooter!

In the arcade version, users simply start at level one and depending on how they do, progress to different levels. Weapon loadouts are pre-selected so all the user has to worry about is protecting their register from unruly fruit!

And just because they simplified the flow, don’t think they made the game overly easy. Those skilled users wanting to rack up high scores are sure to have their work cut out for them.

While the team at nDreams is working hard on their upcoming title Covert: Phantom Ops, which has received multiple Best VR Game of 2019 awards, LBE content has become a key vertical for their team as they strengthen their position as a leading VR publisher and developer.
