5 Most Expensive Cars In The World
1. Ferrari Monza
Price: $1.7 Million The Ferrari Monza SP1 and SP2 are not your typical, everyday supercars. Unlike most modern sports cars, the Monza’s are convertible, making these two models ideal for summer drives through town with the top down. They come equipped with a 6.5-liter V12 engine capable of 809 horsepower and 530 pound-feet making them near impossible to ignore on the open road or track. Unfortunately for US buyers, neither of these models are street legal in America but considering how high their price tag is, you probably wouldn’t want to drive 809 horsepower on public roads anyway!
2. Mercedes-AMG Project One
Mercedes has promised a production version of the Project One hypercar for quite some time now. The first official announcement was in March of 2017 when the first concept debuted later that same year. After nearly five years of teasing, it appears as if the Project One will finally hit public roads. The hybrid hypercar will have over 1,200 horsepower (895 kilowatts) and a $2.7 million price tag when it is completed.

3. Aston Martin Victor
We don’t get to see very many winged vehicles anymore, and that’s a shame. Thankfully though, a British carmaker has decided to bring back the classic styling element — but only for its most exclusive model. Aston Martin is working on a new out of the box project called Victor and it’s based on the One-77 platform — with bits borrowed from other projects including its track focused machine Vulcan and even forthcoming Valkyrie. It’s rumored to cost just shy of $3 million, which isn’t exactly small change!
4. Bugatti Bolide
Although it’s certainly the wildest-looking Bugatti on this list, the Veyron Super Sport is actually not the most expensive. It costs a very reasonable $2.5 million and features the same 8.0 liter W16 engine as other VW/Audi brands but puts out 1579 horsepower (1118 kilowatts.) But this Veyron is a track-only special with only 30 available for purchase in the USA at any given point in time.
5. Aston Martin Valkyrie
Three years ago, Aston Martin revealed the Valkyrie and billed it as “the ultimate car.” Now they’re promoting this hypercar with an even more epic boast: It’s the first production car (and second product overall) to leave the factory with a price tag bigger than £3 million ($4 million). The message is clear: If you have that kind of cash, and the enviable ability to dole it out for one supercar, you can own a piece of automotive history. Not surprisingly, all 150 examples of this new Aston Martin haven’t gone to just anyone. For example, Red Bull Racing will be getting 25 of them. Only 75 cars are headed for traditional dealerships.
