Morning Wake Uplift

Dear God, thank YOU so much for this day, this breath, this life. I am so thankful for the tools YOU’VE given me to navigate this life. There’s nothing missing, never was, never will be.

I thank YOU for my wiggling toes. I can feel them on the shaggy carpet in my apartment. Thank YOU for my calves I can flex and feel. Thank YOU for my knees and thighs that keep me upright. Thank for belly and torso which house vital organs and keep me functioning. Thank you for neck and head. Thank YOU for arms, hands, and fingers that I can flex and feel and that work perfectly. Thank YOU for blood and bone and nerve.

Thank YOU for blessing me with mechanisms within that allow me to sense and connect without. Thank YOU for allowing me to see myself in others. Thank YOU for trees, grass, summer sun, puffy clouds on blue backgrounds, peaceful starry nights, the moon, ffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff ( oops, dozed off for a sec ).

Thank YOU for friends and family. fffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff ( oops, dozed again).

I ask that YOU allow me to step out of my own way and let YOU work in and around my life. I ask that YOU humble me, silence me, slow me enough to hear YOU. Allow me to settle into you, LORD. The only house I dwell in is YOURS. I’d also ask YOU lead me to a companion when appropriate. I’m tired of being alone. Tired of shutting myself in and locking YOU out. Tired of Satan dangling carrots and playing games. I know who I am. YOU’VE revealed that to me. I’m not ashamed to love Jesus Christ and his ways. I’m not ashamed to consult The Father through Him when needed. I can’t do it alone though, LORD. I need a partner, trusted friends, and The Bible to keep me on the rails.

Thank YOU for all YOU’VE done in my life. I love YOU.
