Exciting Updates: New Game Preview, Egg Production Halving & Pet System

In return for your dedication, we have been diligently working on ways to improve the game and its ecosystem, making it better and more complete. Today, we are excited to bring you three pieces of great news!
1. New Game Preview
Our official team is hard at work developing brand-new game mechanics, leading to a massive overhaul of the existing game. Yes, you heard that right! You will soon experience a completely new aquatic idle game. While the game is still in the design and development phase and we can’t spill all the details just yet, we couldn’t wait to give you a sneak peek.
Here’s what you can look forward to:
The new gameplay will stay true to the essence of the original game, focusing on the idle genre that you love. You will see entirely new visuals, unlock new characters, decorate your backgrounds, and enjoy exciting new features! Additionally, you will be able to interact with your aquarium, bringing a whole new level of engagement and immersion.
Regarding the game’s economy:
- $SQG will continue to be one of the most crucial tokens in the game, playing a significant role in your in-game activities.
- $SQD will evolve to be purely a governance token. In the future, staking $SQD will allow you to earn a share of the game’s revenue, adding a new layer of strategy and reward.
2. Egg Production Halving
In an effort to ensure the long-term sustainability of SquidTG’s in-game economy, we’ve made an important decision that we believe will enhance the overall experience for all players. Starting from June 1st, we will implement a monthly egg production halving on the 1st of each month. This adjustment aims to create a more dynamic balance, allowing the game to thrive in a healthier and more enduring manner.
3. Pet System
Introducing the Pet System, also known as the Check-in System. Beginning June 1st, you will see a unique, glowing squid in the game interface. Don’t hesitate — click on it! Clicking the glowing squid will open the check-in option, where accumulating more check-ins will earn you more points. These points can later be exchanged for treasure chests in the new game interface, containing many exciting rewards!
