Thanks for sharing! My understanding of the intent behind this piece is that it hits the nail on the head — people are so busy that they are looking for life hacks everywhere including finding a life partner. And when they find one, there are so many people to meet that it becomes easier, I think, to give up on a relationship because you “deserve more”.
None of this is right or wrong, but I think life would be much easier and more enjoyable all around if people stopped to think for half a second. The Hollywood notion that you’ll know instantly if someone is a match is… unlikely at best. So if you want to meet someone, taking time to have an actual conversation — regardless of who organised the date etc. — seems like a reasonable place to start.
