Its the form not the weight that matters
It has been over an year I have been exercising — but didnt get the ripped shape I aimed for . It made me thinking how actors get a ripped body in 6 months, ideally that is a timeframe I have seen people targetting to get a well shaped body.
My 1 year with Gym wasn’t on any strict diet plan — that might have worked against my goals but still repeating exercises every week should’ve got me results?
That is when Yesterday I watched an youtube video of a natural( hope so) body builder who stresses on form with low weights and hitting the target muscles the key to shape. For a change, yesterday in gym rather than hitting the heavier ones I just focussed on low weights with correct form- there is a feeling that it works and I got pain in the targetting muscle area.
Our Baby is due in Dec first week, wouldn’t it be cool to see her/his dad in his best shape of life ☺Yes it would be just a icing in the cake. So thats my target. There are few others which I want to hit by December this year. Few ones which can be readly achieved through dedication and smart work.
We have the best set up in our life now and often we both wonder if we are making the most of it — probably not.
So what is the procrastination factor? The point may surprise as it the most postive factor which we got it turned against it!
Yes- we both have comfortable jobs with us allowing to work from home. Ideally my situation is far better- though in India, rarely I need to go upto office as I can handle the 3 Projects from home remotely. But I always wished to goto office and indulge in good corporate settings but lastly it has taken a backseat. The target would be to visit office atleast once a week.
PMP is something of a nice to have. Now that I have the bandwidth and ideal setting, why not be? Go for it — set a plan today and do it in 2 months. So by Sep end, I should’ve have PMP added to my corporate profile.
Meeting up with College friends was another pending one. It has been 11 years out of college and couldnt meet most of them as I was not in India. I should get started with “one friend a week” to get back to our lost friendships.
These steps would enhance the life-will get you know lot of lost connections, learn new things and I am sure will enrich the life we live in.
Mom to be — my love of my life is passing her best time of life. My support to her and our love to our soon to be vava — just excites me more than ever and loving this life!
