Srilatha has 17+ years of technical experience and 7+ years of leadership experience working with large e-commerce companies and small start-ups. Srilatha has successfully delivered several end-to-end initiatives where she played different roles — lead for multiple domains and technical manager responsible for highly critical initiatives.

Srilatha recently successfully led a complex and critical technical initiative at PayPal. The initiative entailed scaling a system to 10 times the previous scale while working with 20+ teams. The system has billions of hits per day and is critical for payments, merchants, and customers on PayPal.

Prior to this, Srilatha managed the Checkout Order Management System at eBay where she led the re-platforming of the Order Management System. Every transaction on eBay goes through the Order Management System. The system is critical for checkout, payments, post-payments, purchase history and merchant APIs. Srilatha led multiple initiatives at eBay including buy online and pick in-store where she technically collaborated across the entire 9+ engineering teams in Checkout and Payments.

Srilatha also leads the women’s technical track at PayPal.

In this role, she works with hundreds of women and is focused on their technical empowerment and visibility.

Srilatha has been leading and managing for the last 7+ years and dealing with high-volume systems where she builds teams and mentors both engineers and professionals.
