The Case for A Valentine’s Day

I sometimes wonder if ‘love’ is over sold, over dramatized and overly commoditized. Probably it is. Well, love can just be the heaviness of an emptiness arising from unspoken words. Yes, just silence is sometimes love. So all this drama is probably not needed.

But in our daily lives, where we are constantly pursuing dreams that consume us and are relentlessly running errands that burden us, there is sometimes a frantic need for that moment of complete irrationality from someone exclusive — a moment that tints the entire world we see… with colors we know don’t exist. And that is probably why it is okay to call a single day out just for love.
