Considering the target segments based on the initial stage of the start up, we have listed the budget channels in which marketing can be focused and following that we have included moderate and expensive channels too with necessary pros and cons.
Social Media ( Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn)
Pros : Free from cost as the process is completely depend on person strategy oriented.
High chances to reach out to as much more people in our target segment ranging from students, parents and other community. We can expect word of mouth as in high range.
Cons : Time consuming and limited scalability since perception of the consumers may be different from consumer to consumer. Need to set up separate FTE or allocate alternative person in the role.
News Paper & News paper :
Pros : Direct approach on educated parents community if the message is delivered on right method in right news paper ( example : The Hindu)
Pamphlets & effective brochures distribution through magazines, newspapers will enhance the reach to different community ranging from corporates to college students.
Cons : Output will be unexpected as most of the cases will be 1:10 ratio.Pamphlets insertions will be cost effective whereas newspaper direct ad will be pretty costlier.
Radio & Television Channels :
Pros : Message reaches to every person, from which brand is identified and positioned. Brand is created. Visualistion gives more positivity on trusting the brand for the consumers.
Cons : Very Expensive & Difficulty lies in start up stage due to affordability.
Campaign & Stalls Marketing :
Pros : Organising Campaign & stalls at various places like corporate communities, schools, Apartment communities will reach the message to the customers and shall bring in great output with maximum visibility to customers in terms of belief of the brand.
Cons : Time Consuming, Measure of ROI depends according to the location of the stalls. Cost will be moderate as in starting stage and will increase based on the location.
Video Content as ad :
Pros : Creating videos and uploading in You Tube, Facebook & other methods increases popularity & high chances to reach word of mouth by different people.
If video properly created representing the brand and vision message can be delivered very smoothly and effectively where customers will love to share with everyone.
Cons : Very Expensive in terms of creating as well as to advertise via different channel methods. ( Not about You tube)
