Very interesting though. Some analogies I see are — quantifying the business value of diversity & inclusion, sustainability, ethical manufacturing etc. Intuitively they are right, but it appears that quantification helps more adoption in this metric driven culture.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts. A lot of this has got to do with ‘maturity’ of the customer. Vast majority of customers are still at the lower end of the spectrum of maturity. It is also surprising that there is no out-of-the box solution developed yet that can provide such insights. A lot of work is needed before we can call cloud is a true commodity.
