“Everything has a message to deliver, a mission to fulfil, a destiny to reach.”

An inspiration is something that lets you set the priorities. It is the force that motivates you to achieve your goals. Inspiration is the greatest force in our life that can motivate and push up a person towards the achievement of a certain goal. While trying to reach at a goal and facing failures, its inspiration that comes in to rescue a person. A highly inspired person does never give up and again struggles to reach finally at his desired destination.

“Inspiration does exist, but it must find you working.” — Pablo Picasso

Inspiration helps progress towards goals. Inspiration increases well-being. Strategic vision to motivate and inspire. Empowering employees at all levels. Accumulating and sharing internal knowledge. Gathering and integrating external information. Challenging the status and enabling creativity. Competitive global economy leaders to shift focus from efficient management to effective utilization of a company’s diversity of resources.

Nature has many examples. Work for it more than you hope for it.

THE TWO WOLVES

An old Cherokee chief sat down to teach his grandson about life.

“There’s a fight going on inside me,” he tells the young boy, “a fight between two wolves.”

“One wolf is evil. It’s full of malice, anger, greed, self-pity and false pride. The other is good. It’s full of peace, love, joy, kindness, and humility.”

“This same fight is going on inside you and everyone else on the face of the earth.”

The grandson was quiet, pondering this revelation for a moment before asking, “Grandfather, which wolf will win?”

The old man smiled and replied, “The one you feed.”

The moral of the story is Good and Evil exist within each of us. It’s our responsibility to own that reality and do whatever we can to nurture the good.

It is both a process and an outcome. Two main dimensions of innovation are degree of novelty and kind of innovation. Creativity is connecting things.

Innovation is the multi-stage process whereby organizations transform ideas into new or improved products, service or processes, in order to advance, compete and differentiate themselves successfully in their marketplace. Innovation is production, assimilation, and exploitation of a value-added novelty in economic and social spheres; renewal or enlargement of products, services and markets; development of new methods of production; the establishment of new management systems.

“Creativity is thinking up new things. Innovation is doing new things.”

Let us become better humans by accepting the change needed today, let’s embrace the simplicity of new innovations. Greatest minds are those who can think and visualize a world where ideas are free flowing and the reach of kindness is all over. Innovation is nothing more than a change that positively transforms a situation or status. Most innovations, especially the successful ones, result from a conscious, purposeful search for innovation opportunities, found only in few situations. Such areas of opportunity exist: unexpected occurrences, incongruities, process needs, industry & changes.

How much of innovation is inspiration, and how much is hard work? Establish the right roles and processes, set clear goals and relevant measures, and review progress at every step.

Some characteristics that distinguish the most innovative people:

  1. Ability to associate ideas, problems and situations
  2. Ability to ask questions
  3. Observation
  4. Experimentation
  5. Relationship

How many sources of opportunity exist even outside a company? Intellectual and social environment: demographic changes, changes in perception and new knowledge. These sources overlap, different as they may be in the nature of their risk, difficulty, complexity, and the potential for innovation may well lie in more than one area at a time. But together, they account for the great majority of all innovation opportunities.

Integrate is to mix with and join society or a group of people, often changing to suit their way of life, habits, and customs; to combine two or more things in order to become more effective. Integration is the act of bringing together smaller components into single system; functions as one. It’s not about balance; it’s about integration.

“Integration is the basic law of life; when we resist it, disintegration is the natural result, both inside and outside of us.” — Norman Cousins

The extreme is awareness and acceptance followed by integration. We begin with awareness of ourselves that are not integrated, and only after we accept these parts, or behaviors can we integrate them. If we spend more time on the chaotic bank of the river, then we are probably more scattered, overly sensitive, easily overwhelmed and more easily re-stimulated. Living in either extreme is problematic & challenging.

Why work-life integration is important in life?

Work and life stressors will continue to increase, as expectations and choices compel us to seek for what is a “Good Life.” Our core values and life goals become the skill-set that enables us in work-life balancing and in living and working efficiently. When organization takes cognizance of this work-life imperative and designs a conducive work environment, it motivates the employees to work more efficiently and productively.

Some to-do’s to integrate your work life:

— Focus on your values and priorities.

— Upgrade your time management skills and get organized

— Improve your networking skills and establish a mentor network

— Cultivate and invest in relationships responsibility

— Build healthy personal habits; physical and mental well-being
