Multithreading in java

Mutlithreading is a process of executing multiple number of threads at a time. Threading is basically called as a light-weight process or the smallest unit of execution of a program. A multithreaded program usually consits if two or more parts which run simultaneously and each part can handle different tasks at a time without getting crashed. Multiprocessing and multithreading are used for multitasking. Java multithreading is usually used in games, animations etc.

Advantages of multithreading :

Using multithreading we can perform many operations at a time as it saves time too. It does’nt block the user as it has the ability to perfrom many operations at a time. There will be no effect of a thread on the other thread as the threads are independent.
