Backpropagation (and Gradient Descent): The most prevalent algorithm used to train neural networks, by identifying which weights contribute most to the error in the output, and consequently adjusting them to give better results.
Artificial Intelligence is a challenge first and foremost, in every sense of the word. Technologically, ethically, economically, we have never faced a disruption like this ever before in the history of mankind. It makes sense to explore where this will lead us and where we are today, and try to make a roadmap of where to go from here.
