Have you ever seen a dog fly,

Flap its wings and wag its tail as,

It howls and growls till the sun dies

I have.

Have you ever seen a chicken man,

Pecking his skin and shedding his hair as

He searches for an itch to please?

I have.

Have you ever seen the planets cry,

The stars plot behind their back as,

They are stuck in their own little system?

I have.

Have you seen the teapots come alive,

Boiling, ready to let go of their steam as,

Only to realize that sans tea, they’re worthless?

I have.

Have you seen a man as an emotion,

Caged forever in his own little cell as,

Only to never realize the key was with him?

I have.
