Introduction

Hello world,

My name is Luke and this is a blog about my journey into the world of web development. I have been teaching myself how to code on and off for about 2 years, maybe even a little longer. This has culminated with participation in the Viking Code School, an immersive web development program that does not charge you until gainfully employed. I chose VCS because they’re only successful if I am successful in my ultimate goal of gaining employment as a Jr. Web Developer, which is the purpose of doing a program like this. This was critical in my search for a coding bootcamp because a lot of bootcamps charge up front and are not invested in your job search.

I have just completed my first week with VCS, and I will be sure to write more about my web development journey.
