Black Friday

…And this is why I relax at home, Black Friday. The age of the Internet has come to bring us the same deals to our doorstep. Even better! I don’t think most people get it though.

I will say, for many, materialism will grow alongside emptiness in their eternal “pursuit of happiness” — against whatever first brought sadness; they will trample anything and anyone to fill their void, in exchange for wounds of hope that will never suggest a god but that which is temporal and of capitalism.

A day that brings a distraught society relief, Black Friday. This is not against the sport of doing it, but the materialism that follows. Say no to that! Keep Calm & Carry On. Keep a civil mind and your priorities straight, make evident whatever god you stand for. And please let that not be a $14 toaster.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
