This perspective is spot on! Only Cleveland and/or Lebron fans would disagree because of such strong denial and incorrigible biases they hold not unlike Brian Windhorst himself. Cleveland was so desperate from a 52 year drought that they were even willing to accept such a thrown, watered down title as this. How pathetically shameless?! It was naive enough of them to take the King back after his pitiful insincere acknowledgement that “The Decision” was in fact wrong. He sure knows how to play the emotions of the blindly gullible. Let’s not forget how he pompously addressed all his “haters” following 2011’s loss to Dallas by essentially saying he was better than them. Better than them athletically. Better than them financially. Better than them socially. He doesn’t even care one iota about any of his “fans”! It’s always been about two things: $$$$$ and personal legacy. Let’s be honest though, Cleveland would have taken in Hitler’s ghost with open arms if he had delivered a long awaited championship to them! Hell, they’d re-welcome Johnny Football! I wouldn’t be surprised at all if many of these Cleveland faithful are in fact staunch Trump supporters as well! Shame on the league for having actively participated in this sham. Anything to extend the series to a full seven in hopes of maximized profits. I’m turned off to the NBA in whole following this farcical charade.
