Who is Kristen Hancher?

You may have never heard of Kristen Hancher before. Or, maybe you have. The social media star and style guru has almost 30 million followers across all of her social medias, including huge platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. Today we’re going to give you more knowledge about Kristen’s background, and why you should stay updated with her and her life.

Kristen Hancher’s life

Kristen Hancher is a Canadian social media personality, fashionista, and actress. Kristen was born on May 17 1999 in Ontario, Canada. She was raised there, and she has a little brother named Derek Hancher. Kristen is skilled at gymnastics, as you’ll see in some of her TikTok videos, and she enjoys playing soccer.

How fame got to her

Kristen’s career on social media began when she downloaded a live-steaming app titled YouNow. She became super active on the platform and gained a good amount of followers. She then downloaded an app called musical.ly, which is now known as TikTok. There she posted her creative gymnastics and lip-sync transition videos, which boosted her to the third most-followed individual on the platform, with over 23 million followers. She also grew a following on Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter. (Kristen no longer uses her twitter)

Kristen has over 5.8 million followers on Instagram and over 1 million YouTube subscribers. She has about 55,000 followers on her Twitter account, which she stopped posting on in the beginning of 2018.

What has fame given her?

This publicity gave Kristen the platform she needed to pursue her dreams. Kristen has been a part of four shows, which includes her own show Misshaps. She was nominated for the Teen Choice Awards for Choice Muser in both 2016 and 2017.

In 2019, she announced on her Instagram story that she was making a clothing line called Lucid Drip. She made an Instagram page for it with the handle @shopluciddrip.

Kristen is known to have a collection of wigs. She found an interest in them after buying a few after accidentally killing her hair with hair dye. She has since loved wigs and she state she has always had a passion for style and beauty.

She also announced in a YouTube video that she was joining Team 10, a creator management group. She states that she felt like the “really vibed” with each other and were great people.

Dating History

In 2016, Kristen began dating Andrew Gregory. She broke up with him in late 2018, posting a YouTube video on how he abused her and their relationship.

She began dating fellow YouTuber Austin Hare in 2019. She has a room with him in the Team 10 house.
