Why competition is needed so much in the LPWAN-chip industry?

And how MXC is ready for taking over!

  • Well, first things first, a low-power wide-area network(LPWAN)is a type of wireless telecommunication wide area network designed to allow long-range communications at a low bit rate among things (connected objects), such as sensors operated on a battery.
The low power, low bit rate and intended use distinguish this type of network from a wireless WAN that is designed to connect users or businesses, and carry more data, using more power.
Simply put, I believe that LPWAN technologies will impact our lives soon.

All sounds good huh? Well, I have some bad news…

For many years the LPWAN-chip industry was dominated by a company which held total control over this market segment, making their own rules, and setting the prices way too high.

Here comes in the MXC and ASE partnership!

MXC(Machine Xchange Coin) and ASE(Advanced Semiconductor Engineering) announced a new partnership to bring an AI Blockchain-enabled microchip to the global market. This partnership is a huge realization for MXC, in case you don’t know ASE is a primary chip supplier to Apple and other major companies meaning that the LPWAN-chips are going to be a part of our lives in the future. Introducing the LPWAN-chips inside of consumer electronics to benefit from LPWAN-based MXProtocol will allow consumers to easily collect data from their everyday surroundings, providing them the option to monetize this data using the MXC Data Market.
