I have a dear relative who ended up with whiplash after riding a park’s standing roller coaster. I’ve not been back to an amusement park since. I agree completely with the writer of this article. They build these incredibly dangerous rides, and then they hire teenagers to put people on them, and then we all shake our heads when a tragedy happens. There should be height, weight, and age restrictions on these “thrill rides.”
