On dating men with “potential”

I married one of those “potential” men in 1990. I divorced him in 1993, after two children and coming to the realization that he liked dope, booze, verbal abuse, and other women more than he liked us. Shame, too, because he was good looking and a pretty good artist. So much potential there. Oh well, I hope he lived up to his potential eventually. Not my problem anymore.
