Welcome back to another weekly update on my journey during the Google Summer of Code (GSoC) coding period.

Health setback and travel:

Unfortunately, the past week was not as productive as I had anticipated. I fell ill and had to battle with a persistent fever, which affected my ability to work efficiently. Given the circumstances, I made the decision to travel back home to my other state, where I could rest and receive proper care. Communication played a vital role during this time, and I promptly informed my mentor, Rishabh, about my health condition and travel plans.

Collaboration with Mentor Rishabh:

I am grateful for the continuous support and understanding I received from my mentor, Rishabh, throughout this challenging period. We had a productive discussion regarding the setback, and he provided valuable guidance on managing time and priorities effectively. Rishabh emphasized the importance of taking care of my health and encouraged me to focus on research during this recovery phase.

Researching upcoming assignments:

While my physical condition limited my ability to contribute to coding tasks, I utilized this time to conduct extensive research for the upcoming assignments related to the Android app. The research involved diving deeper into the intricacies of the app’s architecture, exploring the best practices for implementing specific features, and studying relevant documentation and resources. This proactive approach ensured that I stayed engaged with the project, despite not being able to write code directly.

Looking ahead:

As I gradually recover from my illness and regain my energy, I am excited to apply the knowledge gained during my research to my coding tasks.. Additionally, I plan to communicate with Rishabh to discuss any clarifications or queries that may have arisen during the research phase.

Thanks for reading!
