5 Things To Buy From The Asian Supermarket

If you’re lucky enough to live near an Asian supermarket, I would recommend popping in on a monthly basis. You can buy lots of delicious treats that you can’t get in your local supermarket. You might even save some money too!

Snacks

Our local Asian supermarket stocks snacks from all over Asia. Our favourites are crispy rice snacks and panda biscuits. They’re usually quite cheap, and a great way to shake up your snack game. Keep an eye open for cup-noodle-type snacks as well, which are great for a speedy lunch.

Duck

One of our favourite things to get is a whole frozen duck. This will set you back about £10. You can slow cook it with herbs and spices, then throw it in the oven for great crispy skin. A delicious feast for a fraction of the cost of your local takeaway. Pro Tip: keep the bones and any giblets to make broth for noodle soup.

Mushrooms
