No, I think those are extremely important elements. After all, equity, diversity and inclusion are supposed to mean valuing everyone in our spaces no matter their insecurity or experience communicating in a particular way (which I’m glad you mentioned). How do you do that? Well, I do believe it takes everyone, even those voices we might not agree with…and I don’t believe barriers can be broken down without relationship being at the center. At least this is what Kheprw has taught and continues teaching me.
