Sometimes, we lose people who taught us the value of what we have right now. Despite the tears and the grief, nothing can ever be the same again. All that remains is the ability to look back while continuing to move forward, remembering the vivid black and white memory of how things once were.

Fear is just an emotion that holds you back from doing things as they should be done. Yet, the pain of revisiting the past has the power to both strengthen and weaken you as you try to move forward.

But how is that yesterday hurts more than tomorrow?

While the future is a vast, unexplored things, it holds the promise of possibilities and new beginnings. It may be uncertain, but it also offers hope and the opportunity to create new memories.

Isn’t the unknown scarier and more painful than the past, which we’re already familiar with?

The reason the pain of the past often outweighs the fear of the future lies in our intimate knowledge of what has been.

The future remains unknown and uncertain, while the past is engraved in our memories, filled with experiences and emotions that have shaped us. Memories of the past hold significant power, evoking strong feelings and sometimes, regret or longing.

The past hurts more because it is familiar, burdened with moments and lessons that have deeply affected us. We remember every detail too well, and it is this familiarity that brings pain. The past has crafted us into who we are today, with every pain and achievement contributing to our present selves.

Allow the past to inform and strengthen you, but don’t let it define or limit your path ahead.
