One of the best articles I’ve read so far. I truly believe to be a good Project Manager you have to understand your customers, your team, and your application. I also think some days that we as Project Managers forget how much problems solving we do. This is probably more true for PjM who have been in different roles on the team. I previously was QA/BA and sometimes it is hard for me to step back and feel like I’m adding value. This article reminds me of how much problem solving we still do and how much of a benefit this is for our teams. If we understand our customers and our product then we will understand what our team should be focused on and remove other obstacles from there path.
