My name is Stacy and I run a lot now. The story begins with me sitting here at the doctor, I paid my 25 bucks for the race and am getting checked. Oh crap they wanna do an x-ray of my hip. Oh crap. I was nervous as hell. Was I gonna be allowed to run after all? Of course I brought up the topic of wanting to run a 5K and getting checked out. The doctor looked at me and said ok good for you and take it easy. What? He wasn’t gonna give me an easy out. I am gonna run my first 5k. What did I really know about running anyway?
