I love this article. You nailed it about ‘daughter with a football’ and ‘son with a pink blanket.’ I played with EVERYTHING. I loved trucks and building Legos, as well as playing with dolls. I loved jeans and tee-shirts, as well as boy’s overalls, but I loved my long hair. It’s only now, after twenty-five years of struggling, that I have learned I was born intersex. I am now transitioning, and the mental fuzziness has gone away, as well as what doctors seem to think were symptoms of menopause.
